Jimi Hendrix was an American guitarist and songwriter, widely regarded as one of the most influential musicians in the history of rock music. He was known for his innovative electric guitar playing, making extensive use of feedback and the wah-wah pedal. His best-known songs include „Purple Haze" and „Voodoo Child". He died in 1970 at the age of 27.
