The Dresden Dolls are an American punk cabaret duo from Boston, formed in 2000, consisting of vocalist and pianist Amanda Palmer and drummer Brian Viglione. Their theatrical style blends dramatic piano-driven rock with cabaret aesthetics. Their second album Yes, Virginia (2006) is among their most celebrated releases.
