WDR Sinfonieorchester under the direction of Cristian Măcelaru brings an evening of Richard Strauss to Kölner Philharmonie on Friday, 11 December 2026 at 20:00. This is one of nine German dates the orchestra has scheduled for the season, with Cologne remaining its principal artistic home. Kölner Philharmonie, opened in 1986 above the Rhine, ranks among Germany's most important concert halls.
