Dimmu Borgir is a Norwegian symphonic black metal band founded in Oslo in 1993. They are known for blending aggressive black metal with orchestral arrangements and prominent keyboard layers. Among their best-known albums are „Puritanical Euphoric Misanthropia" (2001) and „Death Cult Armageddon" (2003).
