Nation of Language is an American indie pop / post-punk band from New York City, active since 2018. Their sound draws heavily from 1980s new wave and synth-pop aesthetics. The trio consists of Ian Richard Devaney, Aidan Noell, and Michael Sui-Yuen Worth. Their debut album A Way Forward (2020) brought them wider recognition.
