Sommer-Kabarett 2026 - Herkuleskeule moves into the greenhouse

With "9m² - 800 kalt", political cabaret returns for five summer weeks among the potted plants: Herkuleskeule is back in the greenhouse at Gartenbau Rülcker!

While the Bundestag sits beneath the glass dome of the Reichstag in Berlin, the cabaret artists of Herkuleskeule spend their summer scrutinising politics from a glass greenhouse in Gartenbau Rülcker in Dresden's Strehlen district. From 29 July through all of August 2026, it's Sommer-Kabarett time again - Herkuleskeule zieht ins Gewächshaus! This year the show revolves around a shared flat looking for a new tenant - hence the slightly unusual title "9m² - 800 kalt". And here's a small spoiler: the performance turns into something very much like a flat viewing...

Last summer's "Nur die Harten komm' in Garten!" sold out every single show, so the troupe is once again venturing out of the basement cabaret and into the open air. Author Philipp Schaller will again cultivate sharp political punchlines. "9m² - 800 kalt" stars Beate Laaß, Johanna Mucha and Jens Eulenberger, with musical support from the Herkuleskeule Band featuring Jens Wagner and Volker Fiebig. The air-conditioned greenhouse will heat up again as the performers dig into the murky world of opinion-making - sparing no sensibilities on left or right, and offering no easy answers. Thinking, as author Philipp Schaller likes to say, is something he happily leaves to the audience. Direction is once again in the hands of seasoned cabaret artist Ellen Schaller.
