L'elisir d'amore - The Love Potion by G. Donizetti

Gaetano Donizetti's comic opera "L'elisir d'amore" (The Elixir of Love) takes place on Saturday, 24 October 2026 at 19:00 in the crypt of Peterskirche Wien on the Graben in Vienna's first district. Peterskirche is a Baroque Roman Catholic church completed around 1733, whose crypt serves as an intimate venue for classical music concerts and cultural events. This is one of two Austrian performances of this Italian bel canto masterpiece during the season. The evening will immerse the audience in a world of humour, lyricism, and unforgettable melodies within the unique atmosphere of this historic interior.
