60 Years of the Philharmonic Choirs - Philharmonic Choir Dresden, Philharmonic Children's Choir Dresden

The Philharmonischer Chor Dresden and the Philharmonischer Chor Dresden Children's Choir celebrate 60 years of shared music-making at Kulturpalast Dresden on Sunday, 25 April 2027. This jubilee concert brings both choirs to the stage in one of two German performances by the ensemble this year. Kulturpalast Dresden, built in 1966-1969 in the style of socialist modernism, is home to the Dresdner Philharmonie and renowned for the excellent acoustics of its main concert hall. Located in the heart of Dresden's old town, the palace ranks among the city's most recognizable concert venues.
