Theater, Oper und Orchester Halle presents this masterwork of early European opera, which tells the story of Emperor Nero and Poppea's love affair. Opernhaus Halle, the city's principal opera house, opened in 1951 and accommodates around one thousand spectators. This is the third German date of Monteverdi's tour this season.
