Josh Edwards performs as Blanco White, fusing flamenco guitar and the Bolivian charango with indie-folk songwriting - a combination shaped by years spent living in southern Spain and the Andes. His 2023 album Tarifa marked a new rhythmic direction, co-produced with Brazilian musician Pilo Adami.

Grosse Freiheit 36 is a legendary live music venue located on the famous Grosse Freiheit street in Hamburg's Reeperbahn district. Housed in a former cinema, it has been one of Germany's premier rock and pop concert halls since the 1980s.
