WDR Big Band | Jazz Differently: Sounding Stories

WDR Big Band takes the stage at Kölner Philharmonie in Cologne on 18 March 2027 (Thursday) with "Sounding Stories". This is one of five German dates for the ensemble, a jazz evening that weaves narrative and sound into a cohesive musical journey. Kölner Philharmonie, opened in 1986 above the Rhine, ranks among Germany's premier concert halls. The vineyard-style seating accommodates roughly 2,000 listeners and is renowned for its exceptional acoustics, which allow the full richness of the big band's sound to resonate throughout the space.
