Film Music LIVE - from Hans Zimmer to John Williams

A film music concert takes place on 26 November 2026 at Gewandhaus zu Leipzig, one of the world's most renowned concert halls. The programme features works by Hans Zimmer, John Williams, and other masters of film composition. This is one of nine Zimmer concerts across Germany running from June through October. Gewandhaus, home to the Gewandhausorchester - one of the oldest civic orchestras in the world - will provide exceptional acoustics for this spectacular evening. The Great Hall at Augustusplatz, opened in 1981, hosts the Leipzig Philharmonic performing the finest film scores of our time.
