Carmen ballet by Oper Leipzig takes the stage on 22 January 2027 (Friday) at 19:30 in Musikalische Komödie, the Oper Leipzig venue dedicated to operetta, musical theatre and comic opera. This dance production draws on Georges Bizet's celebrated score, bringing passion and drama to the stage. The theatre in the Lindenau district, built in 1922, holds approximately 460 seats. This is one of three German dates for the Oper Leipzig ensemble this season, where classical Viennese operetta and contemporary musicals meet world-class ballet.
