This performance is one of eight German dates on the production's tour. The Meistersingerhalle, opened in 1963, is the city's principal concert and congress hall, named after Wagner's opera. The main auditorium holds approximately 2,000 seats and serves as home to the Nuremberg Philharmonic Orchestra.
