As a distinctive vocal ensemble, since its founding in 1988 by composer and conductor Tore W. Aas, the Oslo Gospel Choir has interpreted traditional slave songs at the highest level and set the standard. The repertoire includes classic gospel highlights as well as popular pop numbers and many original compositions sung by gospel choirs worldwide. In every guest performance, the choir brings enthusiasm to a new dimension. What impresses is not just the size of the choir with approximately 20 singers, but above all the perfectly arranged voices and incredible stage presence.
