Along the way he encounters gloomy Franconians, spirited women from the Ruhr, and nearly loses his mind listening to a Saxon radio ad. He also tackles the pressing questions of our time: should we give artificial intelligence a chance when the natural kind keeps letting us down? Why do we start making involuntary noises as we age? And why should we be suspicious when long-distance trains suddenly run on time?

He effortlessly bridges the gap between global politics and the absurdities of everyday life - because whether it's presidents, celebrities, or the woman behind the deli counter, they're all part of GAGALAND.
