Following the anniversary success of Riverdance: the original embarks on a major tour in 2024 as well!

Riverdance, the original of breathtaking Irish dance, returns to Germany in autumn 2024! Due to the overwhelming enthusiasm of audiences this year, the step-dancing virtuosos of Riverdance will once again set German stages ablaze! Ticket pre-sales for this sensational dance spectacle begin tomorrow.

This year Riverdance celebrated its 25th anniversary, earning standing ovations and once again capturing the hearts of audiences. To date, the successful ensemble has enchanted over 30 million people worldwide with its brilliant show. A quarter-century ago, this unique Irish formation began its international career, and since then they have set worldwide standards for unrivalled step-dancing. In November and December 2024, the legendary Irish dance show comes live to Germany. In a total of 21 cities, Riverdance fans can look forward to pure step-dancing passion: alongside the masterful skill of the dancers, whose rapid steps are so swift that the naked eye cannot follow them, the show impresses with spectacular lighting technology, LED walls, fantastic stage and costume design, and not least: first-rate live music.

The show movingly tells of the multifaceted destiny of the Irish people: of emigration, farewell, departure and homecoming. Riverdance also showcases the interplay and meeting of different cultures. With perfect body control and at a rapid pace, the dancers present a spectacular performance of Irish passion and international dance styles such as flamenco, breakdance and Russian folklore. The traditionally played music, for whose composition Bill Whelan received a Grammy in 1997, is characterised by depth, longing, but also hope.
