Female a cappella groups less entertaining than their male counterparts? That's a cliche MEDLZ from Dresden have been disproving for over 25 years. And the 90s were never just "Mr. Vain" and "What is love".

Anyone who lived through that decade knows how musically diverse it was: from The Prodigy and Grönemeyer to STING and Guano Apes. The range of emotions, genres and songs is vast. That makes this concert evening all the more compelling - and anyone who has seen MEDLZ perform knows that connecting with the audience is what drives them most.

Their guiding principle, as always: entertainment. The shows are self-deprecating and funny, yet charming and genuinely moving. With just four voices, MEDLZ can bring a concert hall to a boil or produce a silence so complete you could hear a pin drop. What sets them apart is their modern sound - with carefully measured percussion they create textures that have left more than one audience member realising only afterwards that they had just attended an a cappella concert.
