Israeli indie musician with band and new album on tour

Following his acclaimed solo concerts, ASAF AVIDAN returns with another tour and festival performances. Known for his distinctive, moving voice, poetic lyrics, and an almost mythical stage presence, AVIDAN is reviving his tour - this time performing with a full band for the first time!

The new show promises a broad spectrum of musical genres and theatrical stage design that provides the perfect backdrop for songs from every period of his celebrated repertoire, while also giving him the opportunity to present his new album live.

The New York Times described him in a concert review as an "artist who writes like Leonard Cohen, sings like Robert Plant, and is equipped with the magical charisma of a cabaret dancer." While no compliment could be more generous, AVIDAN has by now established himself as a completely independent artist who needs no comparisons and has long been playing in his own league.

AVIDAN refuses to use computers, Auto-Tune, or backing tracks either in the studio or on stage. His albums are therefore analog acoustic treasures, and his concerts are genuine live experiences from one of the finest artists of his generation, who seemingly effortlessly blends folk, jazz, blues, rock, pop, and even rap into a completely unique personal sound universe!
