Tens of thousands of visitors annually, standing ovations and a fan cult like rock stars: the duo Café del Mundo is Germany's most successful guitar export and captivates generations. With their unique blend of flamenco, classical music, jazz, pop and rock, Jan Pascal and Alexander Kilian completely redefine the classical instrument - the guitar.

They work like "fire and water" - and it is precisely from this tension that they draw their magical energy. The two protagonists could not be more different in nature, yet on stage they merge into a unity of world-class caliber. Their live performances are electrifying dialogues that regularly lift the audience from their seats.

Café del Mundo proves that flamenco guitar can extend far beyond traditional folklore. Their repertoire builds a bold bridge between worlds. Alexander Kilian, known as a qualified jazz guitarist and "guitar prodigy", explains the duo's vision: "We see our contribution to the guitar in bringing this wonderful instrument into mainstream entertainment. Out of the niche - and worldwide." This vision has already led them to legendary venues like Abbey Road Studios in London and to recordings with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.

The duo came together in 2007 at a workshop. Since then they have released over ten albums and established themselves as a permanent fixture on the international instrumental music scene. Their style combines Andalusian tradition with modern influences from pop, rock and electronic music.
