That the waltz-drunk "Duidu, Duidu" and its laid-back counterpart "Dudidubidu" are really just a short step apart - no more than "a warm embracing dance away" - is something the masters of Mnozil Brass have known for ages. For over thirty years, these seven virtuosos with their gleaming brass instruments have moved with complete ease between Johann Strauss and Frank Sinatra, between Shostakovich and Prince, or with equal enthusiasm from Schubert across to their kindred spirits in Queen. The solemn grandeur of one side concerns them no more than the supposed banality of the other.
