Scheytt is among the busiest musicians on the European blues and boogie circuit. For over 20 years he has performed not only as a soloist but also with his trio Boogie Connection at jazz clubs and festivals across Europe and beyond - including four appearances at the world-famous New Orleans Jazz Festival in Ascona.

Scheytt has received numerous awards. His CD Blues Colours earned him a nomination for the German Record Critics' Award, and he won the German Blues Award twice in 2015.
