Jonas Gavriil grew up in Pforzheim and carries a Nordic quality that makes his music a compelling blend of melancholy and vitality.

Imagine: Reinhard Mey meets the Beatles, AnnenMayKantereit jams with Oasis, and Gisbert zu Knyphausen sips tea with Coldplay. Somewhere in between, Jonas makes music that is entirely his own. Sometimes quiet and poetic, sometimes loud and forceful - always genuine. He combines classic singer-songwriter traditions with modern indie-pop elements, and increasingly writes German-language songs with a melancholic yet powerful depth.

His charismatic voice can be both tender and commanding, and he builds an atmosphere that lingers long after the last note. Whether solo or with a band, his shows are varied and driven by an intense connection with the crowd. Jonas has already worked with established names like Peter Freudenthaler and Volker Hinkel (Fools Garden) - their influence shows in the sophistication of his arrangements, as heard in the single "Viertel vor Acht", which Hinkel helped shape. Songs like "How it goes" have landed on over 100 Spotify playlists, earning him attention well beyond his home region.

In 2025, Jonas took a decisive step with his first nationwide German tour of 16 dates. His newer German-language tracks, often more melancholic and introspective, add another dimension to his artistry. He is currently working on his debut album, due out on 29 May 2026.
