"Love is in the air" - but what if the great love story doesn't end in tragic death, and instead has to survive the grind of married life? Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet - the most famous love story of all time. A couple, hopelessly in love, united forever. But Ephraim Kishon dares a thought experiment: what if Juliet had woken up in time, and the two of them - 30 years later - are now stuck in Verona?

Romeo is a failed ballet teacher and Juliet fares no better as a housewife. Both are defeated by the tedium of everyday life. Their daughter Lucretia is deep in her teenage years, the nurse has romantic ambitions of her own, and Friar Lawrence, now a proud 98 years old, brings no fresh energy to the situation either. When William Shakespeare himself suddenly appears to set his tragedy right again, things spiral completely out of control.
