Since their debut album Neurotic Handshake at the Local Clown Party (2006), Steaming Satellites have been touring across Europe and the USA. As a support act for bands like Portugal. The Man, Alt-J, and The White Lies, they have already captivated large audiences and earned international recognition.

Their distinctive emotionally charged sound and ecstatic live performances leave no one unmoved. Their music, somewhere between indie, alternative, psychedelic, and space rock, has not only charted but also found its way into film - notably in the soundtrack to the award-winning film "Das finstere Tal". Several Netflix series have also been scored with the sound of Steaming Satellites.

Seeking fresh direction, Steaming Satellites venture once more into new dimensions. With the album "The Great Lime Paradigm", released in autumn 2026, the band led by singer-songwriter Max Borchardt presents itself from a completely new angle.
