G. F. Händel - Susanna (HWV 66)

The oratorio Susanna ranks among the most remarkable works Georg Friedrich Händel composed in the final years of his life. The drama of the unjustly accused Susanna draws on the expressive language of opera, and Händel himself apparently held it in particularly high regard - shortly before his death in 1759, he arranged for it to be performed once more.
