Konrad Kuechenmeister is one of the most captivating artists of the contemporary underground music scene. He embodies the harmony between traditional musical craftsmanship performed live on stage and cutting-edge multimedia technology.

This multi-instrumentalist composes, arranges, creates, and mixes - all LIVE on stage. He plays traditional instruments such as guitar, bass, melodica, keyboards, drums, and percussion, which he combines with vocals and beatbox using modern effects fed into a loop station. The loop station creates an endless loop (LOOP) from the recorded sounds and plays back individual recordings simultaneously, layered on top of each other. The result is a sound you would normally expect only from full bands. Konrad Kuechenmeister completely forgoes pre-recorded samples and enjoys creating sounds in abstract ways using bottles, pots, and other unconventional "musical instruments". He leaves plenty of room for improvisation, making each show unique and special.

The Dresden-born artist, now based in Berlin, began his solo career as a street musician in public spaces and flea markets in Berlin. Since his street musician days, Konrad has performed at more than 1,000 concerts across Europe, the USA, China, South Africa, Namibia, and Brazil, including as official support act for Manu Chao at Arena Brasilia.

From the influences and inspiration gathered during his numerous tours, a distinctive style emerged that is as multifaceted as it is striking. His music is his own interpretation of modern musical genres such as Drum'n'Bass, Reggae, Dub, Hip Hop, Ska, Balkan Beats, and Dubstep, making each of his shows an unforgettable experience.
