Prof. Timm Sigg - The Formalized World of the Math Professor

Timm Sigg, a mathematics professor from Stuttgart, tours Germany as a musical cabaret artist with three solo programmes. What began in 2014 as a wild idea has evolved into a cabaret institution unlike any other. He sings at the piano with as much passion about numbers as others do about their love affairs. With self-irony, sensitivity, and wit, he illuminates the pitfalls of relationships between nerds and non-nerds. The evenings are filled with clever wordplay, absurd logic, and melodic bursts of thought.

Both self-proclaimed math haters and so-called super-nerds will find something for themselves. The audience loves his profound texts, his virtuosic piano playing - in short, this clever fellow!

In 2025, Prof. Timm Sigg was awarded the Kleinkunstpreis Baden Württemberg.
