Madrid, Paris, Cologne! Then what? Quique Carrica picks up a guitar, leaves behind his career as the singer of a successful Spanish indie rock band, and begins to enchant the streets of south Cologne with French chansons he brought back from Paris. Soon he finds collaborators, founds CHANSON TROTTOIR, and has since conquered stages across Cologne and Germany. The songs from Paris have long since been replaced by their own chansons. Their lyrics are often poetic, telling stories of urban life, while their melodies both inspire reflection and invite dancing.

The distinctive style of CHANSON TROTTOIR combines the melancholy of traditional French chansons with the energy of punk and the modern sounds of indie rock. This explosive mix creates a unique experience that appeals to both older and younger generations.
