These two "heavenly" string instruments were particularly beloved during the Baroque era, whether at the courts of the most famous princes or on village dance floors. With harp and psaltery, we travel to the cultural capitals of Italy and Spain - lands that gave rise to the powerful Baroque movement. You will hear virtuosic canzonas and toccatas by Giovanni Kapsberger and Bartolomeo Montalban, spirited dances by Vincente Adan and Lucas Ruiz de Ribayaz, and sweet melodies by Andrea Falconieri.
