Dr. Pop - Hitverdächtig - The Music Comedy Stand-Up Show

Can you seriously get a doctorate in pop music? Yes! And what do you do with it? Comedy and cabaret. Dr. Pop is a doctor for all things musical - he practises on radio, TV, online and on stage. In his live show "Hitverdächtig" he treats audiences with music samples and bizarre but entirely true facts about music.

Did you know that termites chew through wood twice as fast when they hear heavy metal? Or that evolutionary theory has a Barry White effect? The deeper a male's voice, the better his mating chances - and that applies to humans and koalas alike.

In "Hitverdächtig", music takes the stage that can rescue a party, a relationship or the motivation to exercise - or to clean the flat. Pop, rock, classical, schlager, jazz, hip-hop, rap: Dr. Pop fires off familiar and obscure samples from music history. By the end of the show, everyone in the audience knows how to enrich their life with music just a little bit more.
