Kabinett - "Kabinett live"

Kabinett is an indie rock band from Mannheim that has built a dynamic and versatile sound since forming in late 2019.

The band's musical concept grew from a desire to craft synth-driven indie and electro-pop. Influences from funk, disco and rock - brought in by all members - quickly followed, shaping a distinctive signature sound. Frontman Josê Sommer's smoky lead vocals, layered with the band's multi-part backing harmonies, are an instantly recognisable trademark. Instrumentally, Kabinett leans on heavy synth use, driving basslines, intricate drum patterns and guitars that range from atmospheric and experimental to straight-up catchy.

The band draws inspiration from Foals, Mando Diao, Arctic Monkeys, Nothing But Thieves, The Killers and De Staat. They are currently working on new material and have live shows planned for 2025.
