RUND-Reise - die Band-Tour 2026
It's all about RUND: STOPPOK is celebrating a birthday - and doing it the only way he knows how, on stages across Germany. This "RUND-Reise" is a journey worth taking. In 2026, STOPPOK, the sharp-eyed chronicler of German life, turns a very round 70. Too good an occasion to let pass quietly. So it's a tour through the republic, on the live stages that have always been his natural habitat and emotional home ground - full of rough edges and warmth, a new album and old friends. The icon of lyric, voice and guitar is clearly in the best of birthday spirits.
For 50 years STOPPOK has been a benchmark for an entire craft - a singular entertainer from the fresh-produce aisle of songwriting, an independent spirit on "solid ground" who made his choice between "money or life" early on. He stands out as a lyricist of wordplay, wisdom and pointed poetry. This weathervane of shifting values shines as a one-of-a-kind. There's no sign of fading energy or drying inspiration: his last two albums, "Jubel" and "Teufelsküche", both landed in the Top Five of the Media Control Charts.
STOPPOK is a singer and musician held in high regard by respected peers, combining a loose tongue with formidable craft - he plays his string instruments with masterful, deeply personal touch. Drawing on folk, blues and rock'n'roll, the STOPPOK sound runs on energy and stubbornness. Carrying that idea of groovy emotional outbursts is his well-drilled band: Reggie Worthy on bass, Leo Lazar on drums, and Sebel on keys and guitar - all fellow passengers on the "RUND-Reise" (21 October to 15 November 2026). It fits a new song from the album released alongside the tour: "The longer we walk together, the better we'll understand each other". STOPPOK keeps at it - persistent, joyful, sharp.
