Sullivan Fortner Trio

For over a decade, Sullivan Fortner has proven himself as a pianist, composer, bandleader and uncompromising individualist across a wide range of ensembles and projects. The Grammy-winning artist and 2026 Larry J. Bell Jazz Artist Award recipient has built an international reputation both as a leader and as a committed collaborator. He has worked with Wynton Marsalis, Paul Simon, Diane Reeves, Etienne Charles and John Scofield, among others.

His long-standing regular partners include Ambrose Akinmusire, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Gary Bartz and Fred Hersch. With his trio, Fortner won the DownBeat Critics Poll 2024 in the "Rising Star Jazz Group" category.
