Syrano (FR) and Band - between Rock and Rap
Kesselhaus Lauenau, Germany
20 €
He is nationally known in France for his album Musiques de chambre (2006), which made a strong impression and opened doors to bigger stages. Le goût du sans (2009) confirmed his artistic approach and was accompanied by a tour on which Syrano could be discovered in a more acoustic register. As a counterpart for adult listeners, 2010 saw the release of Syrano contre le Grand Zappeur - an album aimed at younger audiences that also marked a turning point in the career of this artist, who is openly committed to working with children. He went on to multiply writing workshops and projects in that direction. Monsieur et Madame Neige followed in 2011.
He satisfied his hunger for discovery by embarking on a two-year world tour, bringing back sound material recorded during encounters with traditional musicians. The Emerald Cities, his fourth album, was released in 2012.
In 2015, a second project for young audiences, Le Grand Pestac, was successfully released and drew crowds on a beautiful tour. He also established himself in a socially engaged artistic approach through a growing number of cultural initiatives.
