Epilog: Toni Geiling & Das Wolkenorchester Family Concert
Ostfriesische Landschaft, Aurich, Germany
6 €
A reunion that will set children's hearts racing: after his great success in 2022 at the "Oldenburger Kindermusikfestival on Tour" in Aurich and Leer, award-winning children's songwriter Toni Geiling returns to Gezeitenkonzerte and transforms the stage at Landschaftsforum into a world full of fantasy, poetry, and infectious rhythms together with his orchestra Das Wolkenorchester.
Toni Geiling is a storyteller who takes his audience on a journey "Into the Cloud Factory". He carries far more than just a guitar: from virtuoso violin, through ancient jaw harp, to the mysterious tones of a singing saw - Geiling enchants everyday life with extraordinary sound colors. Since 2003 he has performed on stages across the country, plays around 100 concerts a year, and is considered one of the most innovative figures in modern German children's music. His songs, for which he has received numerous awards, are sometimes deeply poetic, sometimes wonderfully quirky - always full of energy.
With drummer Anne Diedrichsen and double bassist Lars Hansen, the trio becomes the "Cloud Orchestra". Together they swirl through the audience's thoughts and weave a sound tapestry ranging from rocky beats to gentle melodies. With this mix, the musicians effortlessly captivate both young and adult listeners.
One thing is certain: sitting still is not an option! There are plenty of opportunities to dance and sing along. These passionate musicians masterfully know how to bridge the gap between stage and audience. This poetic adventure for the whole family shows how lively and refreshing handmade music for children can sound today.
