Holy Shit! 20 years of Steaming Satellites!

Since their debut album Neurotic Handshake at the Local Clown Party (2006), the band has toured extensively across Europe and the USA. As a support act for Portugal. The Man, Alt-J, The White Lies and many more, they have won over large crowds and earned genuine international recognition.

Their distinctly emotionally charged sound and ecstatic live performances leave no one cold. Their music - somewhere between indie, alternative, psychedelic and space rock - has charted across Europe and made its way into film, including the soundtrack to the award-winning movie "Das finstere Tal". A handful of Netflix series have also been scored with the sound of these steaming satellites.

In search of fresh air, Steaming Satellites push into new territory once again. The album "The Great Lime Paradigm", due in autumn 2026, shows the band around singer-songwriter Max Borchardt from a new angle - lighter, fresher and more carefree than ever before. Time to shed the weight!

The driving force was a refusal to be crushed by the heaviness of the world. Art as a carrier of hope, music as a release valve!
