BEFORE THE SHOW WE RECOMMEND:\nDINING AT THE SCHARFRICHTER RESTAURANT OR IN THE ROMANTIC ARCADED COURTYARD. TUESDAY TO SATURDAY FROM 5 PM\nTABLE RESERVATIONS: 0851 - 35 900\n\nHavanna Viva!\n\nCubaBoarisch 2.0 has set a new benchmark: the musical bridge between Cuba and Bavaria has become a fixture on the festival circuit. Salsa, son or Ländler - the band has it all in their blood, from fiery Cuban rhythms to earthy Bavarian sounds.\n\nLeading this spirited group are two powerhouses: Cuban singer and musician Yinet Rojas Cardona and Chiemgau native Leo Meixner. Yinet is a true Guantanamera - born in Guantanamo and long based in Havana. It's no coincidence that the new tour highlight is called "Havanna Viva!" - her tribute to a hometown that overflows with music and energy. She weaves elements of Havana's current Latin-pop scene into her virtuoso guitar playing and extraordinary voice.\n\nLeo brings his Styrian accordion, singing and playing with full heart about his home in Upper Bavaria. Together with the remarkable band, the result is a striking range of sounds and a groove that gets everyone moving. The Guantanamera and the Chiemgauer blend their musical cocktail of Cuban rum, global pop and homespun Bavarian folk with effortless ease. There's only one thing left to say: Salud y baila! Cheers - and let's dance!
