For over 20 years, the Hamburg quartet has been winning fans across the globe - classical music devotees and people who would never normally set foot in a concert hall alike. Virtuosity, wit and poetry: with this signature blend, the four musicians conjure a whole sack of musical treasures for their Christmas programme. Festive melodies from around the world meet sounds that drift between classical, chanson and film music, while works by Bach, Dvořák and Piazzolla are arranged under the richly decorated tree - all lovingly wrapped and delivered with sparkling, almost sacred joy.
