Since 2004, the Stuttgart-based ensemble POEMS ON THE ROCKS has captivated audiences with a unique concept: rock classics in German translation, bringing to life the profound messages and often cryptic meanings of the original songs.

Actor Jo Jung, voice of ZDF, ARTE and SWR, translates the lyrics poetically and delivers the texts on stage with expressive mime and voice. Visual highlights are guaranteed by Karsten Hoppe's spectacular, song-tailored video show. The new anniversary programme presents 16 freshly interpreted rock gems and invites you on a fifth journey through rock history. From Pink Floyd, David Bowie and The Beatles to Kate Bush, CSN, Sting and Peter Gabriel - diversity and quality take centre stage.
