Two men, two dialects, one goal: explain the world - or at least the Ländle. Klaus Birk, Tübingen's cabaret grandmaster, and Andreas Müller, radio star and parody pro from Baden-Baden, pull off the impossible: mutual understanding across dialects - and beyond. They speak Swabian, Badensian, standard German, Länd, Bünd and European English (even if England has left the EU). And what do you know - they get each other! Without subtitles, even.

In HomeLändZack! they bring order to chaos - or at least a solid dose of chaos to order. With sharp wit and dry humour they dissect the skilled-worker shortage, healthcare policy and intergalactic migration strategies - because somewhere out there there's surely an alien with a completed vocational qualification. There's too much bureaucracy, but no specialists left to dismantle it. Traffic jams everywhere - because roads are being rebuilt to prevent future traffic jams. Special funds are raised - to hide special incompetence.

And suddenly animals are turning up everywhere: beavers, raccoons, wolves, lynxes, bullfrogs, flocks of crows and hares. What are they trying to tell us? Maybe: "You're not alone - we're right behind you - ready to bite you firmly in the backside".

Birk & Müller blend a sense of home with a view of the world, parody with poetry, chaos with insight. Because after one election comes the next, and whoever laughs last has at least understood.
