Neujahrskabarett 2027 - Eisenberg & Guests - Waltraud Ehlert (Esther Münch), Matthias Reuter, Christian Hirdes

For 16 years, Benjamin Eisenberg has been hosting his "Neujahrskabarett" in his home city of Bottrop - a cabaret mix-show at the start of the year that blends retrospective topics with highlights from his guests' programmes. The show has since become a fixture at various theatres across North Rhine-Westphalia as well as in Hamburg and Hannover. This season it returns to Herne: Wednesday, 13 January 2027, at the Flottmann-Hallen.

Together with his cabaret colleagues, Eisenberg aims to give audiences a humorous start to the new year. The past is fair game for laughter, and the future is met with good cheer. The cabaret artist from "Innovation City" keeps current affairs and politics firmly in his sights, regularly weaving parodies of well-known figures into his multimedia revue.

To offer the audience a varied evening of stand-up comedy, political satire, witty poetry and musical cabaret, he has invited a diverse lineup of stage colleagues.

Matthias Reuter from Oberhausen is currently touring with his solo show "Ich bin noch gut" and the best-of "Unfugskarton", and last autumn he launched his book "Ohne Eis keine Pommes!". Reuter collects sentences and stories - everywhere, but especially in the Ruhr region, where memorable phrases are simply unavoidable. Every funfair visit becomes a linguistic highlight courtesy of an exasperated grandfather yelling at his grandson: "Wenne Dir nicht sofort ein Eis kaufst, dann krisse keine Pommes!" The award-winning piano cabaret artist (among others: Tegtmeiers Erben, Dresdner Satirepreis) is sure to bring something fresh from his broad repertoire.
