Markus Söder and Hubert Aiwanger agree: newspapers, radio and TV may reach a lot of people in Bavaria, but the only way to get to them directly and unfiltered is through Facebook, Instagram and TikTok. After Markus Söder's accounts were shut down for unlabelled advertising of Nuremberg sausages, one thing became clear: Bavaria needs its own Facebook - a platform to celebrate Bavarian homeland and traditions and reclaim the airwaves from the regulars at the pub table.

But who will find the entrepreneur to fund it? In the tiny village of Untergamskobenzeißgrubengernhaferlverdimmering, there is a mayor with excellent contacts around the world: Schorsch Scheberl. Together with an Allgäu muesli oligarch now living in Switzerland, he founds a new social media platform called: Prost!

Bayern liebt DICH! is a topical Bavarian cabaret solo about the media circus, written and performed by Wolfgang Krebs - as always, alone on stage, playing a whole range of different characters.
