Trio Ikigai: Freu(n)de and Folk Music

Jakow Pavlenko (violin), previously heard as a soloist at Klassik Open Air, Sara Schlumberger-Ruiz (violin), and Conrad Jacobshagen (viola) - all three prize-winners of numerous competitions - perform music composed for this rare trio ensemble by A. Dvořák, B. Martinů, Z. Kodály, and B. Bartók, whose roots lie in Bohemian, Hungarian, and Romanian folk music.
