"We sing our own new songs, written by our lives, and of course we also sing old Bavarian folk songs, because they are brilliantly beautiful - an invaluable and underestimated heritage. We keep the old songs as they are, but we illuminate as many unknown corners as possible.

When folk music appears in the media, it gets reduced to entertainment and humor; yet it often contains something deeply mysterious, magical, abyssal, erotic. We want the full spectrum - we want to show all the beauty and primal power that lies within it."
