For over a decade, CORNAMUSA has been one of the few European stage productions to bring Scottish and Irish traditions together in a single show. It combines Scottish bagpipe music, heartfelt ballads, Celtic melodies and Irish songs with high-energy Irish dance into a compelling live experience.

The new production "Das Flüstern der Steine" (The Whisper of the Stones) takes audiences on an emotional journey through the history and traditions of Scotland and Ireland. A mysterious Celtic stone carrying the voices of past generations leads into an era when people preserved their music, dances and cultural identity against all odds.

A seven-piece live band and a top-tier dance ensemble bring the story to life. The musicians don't just accompany the action - they step into roles themselves and become part of the narrative alongside the dancers. Heartfelt ballads, traditional melodies and multi-part harmonies merge with the driving rhythm of drums and the energy of Irish dance into a celebration of the living spirit of Ireland and Scotland.

The dance performances are delivered by international artists of the highest calibre. Leading the ensemble is three-time European champion Gyula Glaser, who spent many years on international stages including Off-Broadway in New York. Alongside him is Nicole Ohnesorge, a multiple award-winning soloist from productions around the world, who claimed a remarkable 3rd place at the World Championships. Together they represent Irish dance at its finest and have been thrilling CORNAMUSA audiences for years.

Large-scale video projections, striking visuals and live narration round out this extraordinary show.
