Master Eder and His Pumuckl — Komödie im Marquardt, Stuttgart

Ellis Kaut MASTER EDER AND HIS PUMUCKL for children from age 5

"Hurrah, hurrah, the goblin with red hair! Hurrah, hurrah, Pumuckl is here!" Who doesn't know this song? The stories of carpenter Master Eder and his little red-haired goblin Pumuckl have delighted children and adults for decades.

It all began in 1962 with a children's radio drama series from Bavarian Radio. Records, books, television series, feature films, stage productions, and musicals followed. And now this mischievous goblin with his love of rhymes is conquering our theatres!

Master Eder gets quite a shock when a real goblin suddenly appears one day in his workshop, stuck to the glue pot. His name is Pumuckl, and he is normally invisible to humans - except to whoever he sticks to. Since Pumuckl loves to play pranks, hide things, and cause mischief, he soon creates complete chaos.

Look forward to a fantastical theatrical adventure for the whole family! The leading roles are played by Christian Werner as Master Eder and Ines Isabell Braun as Pumuckl, who recently shone as Robber Hotzenplotz and Kasperl.

Directed by Marion Schneider-Bast, whose stage productions in Tübingen, Reutlingen, and Trier have captivated young audiences.
