Poseidon & the Plastic Sea - A Musical Environmental Fairy Tale

Poseidon rules the seas as king and has two daughters: Anemone and Coralia. When Coralia falls ill and no one knows a cure, he promises her hand to the prince who manages to heal her. Prince Coca Coola sets off with Anemone and the court's bottle genie on an adventurous journey through the seas. Will they find a remedy?

A bittersweet fairy tale for children and adults alike, tackling a very timely subject. The opera collage on the theme of water draws on works from Handel and Verdi through Wagner to Fauré and Trenet. Instruments and costumes are made from secondhand and recycled materials.
