Mozart: Piano Concertos in Chamber Music Arrangements (KV 413, 414 and 415)

The Schlosskirche Altlandsberg hosts a rare encounter with the young Mozart: Maria-Magdalena Pitu-Jokisch and the Erichson-Quartett Berlin perform Piano Concertos KV 413, 414 and 415 in seldom-heard chamber arrangements. These works date from 1782/83, when Mozart first established himself in Vienna as an independent artist.

The reduced ensemble brings a fresh perspective to the concertos: instead of orchestral weight, the focus shifts to transparency, intimacy and musical conversation. The result is a lively dialogue between piano and strings - direct, personal and full of chamber-music elegance.
