Late at night, on the way home from a wild party, fate takes a dark turn. Successful plastic surgeon Dr. Corinna Schneider loses control of her sports car and plunges into Lake Tegernsee.

She manages to escape the sinking vehicle at the last second and swim to shore - but her husband Robert, also a plastic surgeon and clinic owner, drowns in the dark depths of the lake.

A tragic accident? That might seem plausible, were it not for Dr. Robert Schneider's mistress and the shady diving instructor Alex, who is desperate to fulfil his dream of opening a diving school in Mauritius before it's too late.

The luxury Tegernsee plastic surgery clinic has made the Schneiders enormously wealthy - exclusive rhinoplasties and breast augmentations are in high demand among affluent patients from around the world. And Dr. Corinna Schneider has a talent for making enemies...
